Alex Turner Can't See it Either

I guess someone agrees with me:

Arctic Monkeys frontman Alex Turner has cast doubt on Metallica headlining Glastonbury, saying the booking "does not add up".

As previously reported, Metallica have been confirmed as the third and final headline act at Glastonbury 2014, joining fellow headliners Arcade Fire and Kasabian at the top of the bill. Arctic Monkeys headlined the festival for the second time last year (2013).

Speaking to Time Out, Turner says he is a fan of the band and would like to watch Metallica but is not sure if Glastonbury is the right festival for them. "I'm not sure it adds up," he says. "I know we'd buzz off it, but fundamentally could you have Metallica in the hippy nucleus?"

Forget the hippy nucleus, can you imagine the aural assault of Metallica? Does anyone know how these shows work? Is this thing on? Was that your head that got turned to mush, mate?

Every Metallica show ends with Seek & Destroy. If you think you've been beaten about the head with a brick and a dead goat when it's over, then they did it right. Go and get your groove on and sway with that in your Wellies.
