This is Actually Something Someone Does?
This is a thing? Really? And there are people still buying these things?
I would imagine that these are fake pieces of nostalgia being passed off as collector's items. I find it hard to believe that this man was simply selling pirated copies that weren't being passed on with some bogus "added value" to them, like signatures or whatnot.
The methods of purchasing and acquiring music have all but vanished. There are no music shops anymore, really, and the Internet is the only way to get music. If you want to be specific about it, getting an iTunes account and dealing with all of that bullshit has to be a pain in the ass for those who have been left behind. Can you imagine dealing with iTunes and several downloads over a dial-up connection?
