The Darling Buds Hit the Ground
A pretty good EP from 1989 in the CD single format (and, I'm guessing, it was also available in the twelve inch single format) from The Darling Buds. I know there are a few of the vinyl singles out there, and 1989 is when all of these formats (CDs, vinyl, cassettes) sort of collided. There is wreckage everywhere from this era, and I still have varying releases in any of the three formats that were used to promote music (four, if you count those rare but pesky 3-inch CDs). These sorts of singles were the kind of thing I would snap up whenever I could.
This EP was designed by The Designers Republic, which folded in 2008 and was a company that had, more or less, a philosophy of Russian Constructivism.
